Kyle + Paige: San Clemente Pier Proposal

A NIGHTLY BEACH WALK TURNS INTO A PROPOSAL

Shout out to all the newly engaged couples like these two!! Kyle and Paige walk along the beach pretty frequently, so when Kyle told me he wanted to propose during one of their nightly walks - it just made sense! She wouldn’t suspect anything, except she totally started getting bummed he hadn’t proposed when the made it to the pier. Little did she know, he had planned to propose on the walk back. I already followed him on Instagram, so I knew who to look for, but the beach is huge and of course it was super low tide (Paige’s favorite time) , so the beach was even bigger. I was pretty far away when he got down on one knee, but it turned out so perfect!! She was so surprised and even more surprised to see me haha! They enjoyed a staycation at the Ritz after! So fun!

Connie + David: Pasadena City Hall Engagement Session

AN OLD TOWN PASADENA ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Coffee, cuddles and lots of love in Old Town Pasadena with Connie and David! They met on coffee meets bagel, so coffee was obviously a must, but unfortunately most bagel shops are closed by 5PM, so no luck with the bagels! They are so so fun and I can’t wait to post their wedding, too! For now, enjoy this sweet engagement session!

Amber + David: Newport Beach Engagement Session

A LITTLE SURFER LOVE IN NEWPORT BEACH

Two of the hippest, beach going, Jesus loving, Newport Beach living people I know! I met Amber when she contacted me about headshots. Turns out she and I went to college together, but didn’t really know each other then. Her best friend Ashten also grew up going to my church, so we had lots of connections. I asked if she and David would be down to do a “for fun” shoot because I had some free time and wanted to build my portfolio a little more with cool couples! David was down and we had it planned for later that week! They weren’t engaged and did their best to make sure they didn’t look like engagement photos, although he did eventually propose a month later! Now they’re married and living it up! Chase + Kaelie: Los Rios Historic District Engagement

A San Juan CAPISTRANO ENGAGEMENT SESSION

It's not every day a childhood friend reaches out and asks you to photograph their wedding. I was beyond thrilled when Kaelie reached out, especially since we haven't seen each other since middle school. She and Chase met in Nashville and she somehow managed to get him out to California haha! They are so sweet and so perfect for one another! I really enjoyed walking around Los Rios street with them while Chase goofed off and Kaelie modeled away. We even grabbed their favorite coffee and my favorite chai from Hidden House after the shoot.
