Upstate New York Wedding Meets Hollywood Glam
I met Heather before they were engaged & she reached out because they knew they would be getting married and had booked a venue, but she was still waiting for the official proposal. We had originally scheduled engagement photos in New York, but the date came and went and he still hadn’t proposed. By the time he proposed, the pandemic hit and they had to postpone their wedding and engagement photos, which is why they wound up being in Malibu instead of New York. They came to visit her sister during 2020 and scheduled their engagement photos during that trip. So when they were finally able to tie the knot I was thrilled to head to New York to photograph their wedding day! The big day was a mix old school Hollywood Glam & modern details at the breathtaking Oak Hill At Livingston in Hudson NY.

It was very important to Heather to get beautiful photographs of her and her bridal party getting ready before the ceremony. Both Casey & Heather had their own personal Airbnb to get ready in with their closest friends & family. They also scheduled in extra time to photograph these moments without being in a rush! This is one of my favorite moments to capture for my couples, you can always feel the giddiness & excitement in the room. Plus the lighting in this Airbnb was stunning on Heather’s tanned skin.
Timeless, Elegant & Romantic
Timeless, elegant & romantic were the three words Casey & Heather used to describe what they dreamed of their wedding day feeling like. Together with their wedding planner at Charmed Affair, they brought this fairytale dream to life. Heather surprised Casey by arriving in a vintage Rolls Royce that gave the ultimate old Hollywood touch & the string trio for the ceremony & cocktail hour was a romantic touch.
