I had the honor of capturing Nick & Paolena’s intimate Temecula wedding in July of 2021. Their day was truly filled with laughter, so much joy, and love from start to finish, and I’m so thankful I got to be there! Nick + Paolena’s Joyful Temecula Wedding With Close Friends & Family
Nick & Paolena’s special day was beautiful & being able to capture their love & the love from their friends & family is something I will never get over! Not only was this wedding intimate, it was also a bit shorter than most in terms of photography coverage. With a quick 5 hour wedding, I was able to photograph this wedding all by myself & made the day feel even more intimate for me.
Getting Ready For The Day
They started their big day surrounded by their wedding parties getting ready at their separate bride & groom suites at Lake Oak Meadows in Temecula. The getting ready suites just had the most gorgeous makeover & the lighting was INCREDIBLE for the getting ready photos. This made such a huge difference compared to the dark & dreary lighting the rooms used to have.
Paolena’s dress & Nick’s suit looked so classic & timeless together. Nick got dressed in a white undershirt, black pants & suit jacket and a pop of flare with black & white patterned socks. While Paolena’s high neck lace dress by Pronovias showed off her arm tattoos perfectly while rocking an elegant updo.
A Special First Look With Paolena’s Brother
Paolena’s father passed away when she was young & she always looked up to her brother Jon as her role model. To honor that special bond they share, she did a sweet & emotional first look with her brother & he also had the honor of walking her down the aisle to her soon to be husband.
Seeing the bond these two have for one another & how proud her older brother looked at her was a moment I will always remember & am thankful I was able to capture this special moment for these two.
The Wedding Party
Don’t get me wrong, this was an intimate wedding, but the bride & groom did have a large wedding party & man, did they all look so good together. One of my favorite photos to capture is the whole wedding party with the bride & groom, seeing everyone supporting the love of their friends on their special day is so fun.
The groomsmen opted for the classic look with black suits & bow ties, while the bridesmaids looked stunning in sage floor length gowns that complemented the groomsmen so well. Paolena’s maid of honor also rocked a dark green gown to help stand out in the bridal party.
The I Do’s
Once Paolena & Nick were ready to do the dang thing, we headed down to the beautiful & elegant ceremony site. Lake Oak Meadows venue has a beautiful outdoor staircase to really give the bride a moment she deserves to show off her dress & give the bride & groom time to soak in the moment.
It was so sweet to witness these two commit the rest of their lives together in front of all their closest friends & family while pouring their love out for one another.
