Blake + Hollyann: San Moritz Lodge Wedding

A LAKE GREGORY WEDDING

Blake and Hollyann are nature people!! They did their engagement session at Carbon Canyon and of course they were married in the middle of nature at San Moritz Lodge. If you’ve never been there, like me - this was my first time (well second because I did a venue walk through) - it is freaking amazing! It’s this cute little lodge that sits on the lake. There are a ton of paths to walk, which made for some great romantics, but there are also so many trees right around the venue, which made for easy access to beautiful locations for family + wedding party photos.

Blake and Hollyann definitely wanted something epic, which is why they asked if I could scout the venue ahead of time. As I mentioned above - so many good spots within walking distance, but after I did the walk through, I drove around the lake to see if I could find anything cool. Well check that first shot out!! It’s on the other side of the lake, which meant we had about 15 minutes to sneak away for these shots! Worth it!!

Garett + Luisa: Laguna Beach Vow Renewal

A LAGUNA BEACH VOW RENEWAL

My sweet friends Garett and Luisa renewed their vows in Laguna Beach surrounded by their family. It had been a few years since i had seen them, so I was beyond excited when Luisa reached out and asked me to photograph such a special memory. I had a chance to catch up with them, see how big the boys had gotten, and meet their family. Garett’s dad officiated and it was beautiful!

David + Grace: Ole Hanson, San Clemente Wedding

I MEAN WOW!! STUNNERS!! These two are freaking gorgeous and so so sweet. David and Grace got married at Ole Hanson in San Clemente surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was an absolute dream and honestly how I picture my wedding day - thanks for the inspo guys! They hired some of the best vendors (tagged below) who helped their vision come to life and made my job that much easier. I could write and write about how beautiful their day was and how wonderful they are, but I’ll just let the photos do the talking!

Doug + Kendall: Wilson Creek Winery Engagement Session

A LITTLE WINE & CORNHOLE

Part one of Doug and Kendall’s engagement session was wine filled! I didn’t know too much about them prior to their shoot other than the fact that they had attended a wedding I second shot. My friend Alexa sent them my way because she was booked on their wedding date. I quickly learned these two love to end a day with a glass of wine and Doug grew up in Temecula, so it only made sense to meet up at a winery. Wilson Creek has a pretty strict closing time, which meant shooting a lot earlier than I normally would like to. We didn’t get much of that golden light, but thankfully we were able to find the little bit of shade.
