It was a warm autumn day in the village - perfect for an engagement session. Carrie and Francesco are both models and had each booked a shoot with me, but also wanted some shots together. Little did I know, they've been talking about marriage, so it turned into a bit of an engagement shoot. We wandered around West Village and captured their love, which is endless and true. It was one of the busiest weekends out there - Labor Day weekend. Our great thought - shoot at the beach on Labor Day! It was madness, but we did our best to avoid the crowds. These two were troopers and the photos wound up gorgeous. They didn't even have the ring yet, but they were engaged and wanted to get their photos done before the big day on October 8th! Enjoy!
When traveling, you have to get some shoots in! While wandering London, my friend Sheri and I saw this gorgeous couple and had to ask if they'd be open to having their photos taken. They were the most stylist people we had seen and thankfully they were totally into having their photos taken. Enjoy!
I was so excited when John texted me asking if I was available to photograph his proposal. We worked together at In N Out for years, so I felt beyond honored to be a part of such an important moment of his life. We all met at The Great Park to go on a hot air balloon ride. He wanted to go up in the balloon then propose later with candles, or so I had thought. We made it back down and I asked them to do a quick shot with the full balloon showing in the background. I turned away for half a second and he was already down on one knee. I was so glad there was a crowd behind me getting excited because I would have missed it otherwise. I couldn't be anymore stoked for these two! Congrats!! Enjoy!
