gettin' down to the nitty gritty

Where are you located and do you travel?

I’m based in Orange County, California! I spend the most time traveling back and forth between CA and NY. I've photographed weddings all around the country including Detroit, Nashville, Dallas, Jersey and SF to name a few. Like my header says - I’m a photo gal who always has her bags packed. Let’s goooo!

Help! How many hours do I need?

Don’t stress! We’ll work on a timeline together to determine how many hours you need beforehand, so you get exactly what you need as we build your custom wedding package. If you’re still unsure, you can just lock in for the minimum amount of coverage (6 hours) and always upgrade to the next package if we decide you need more hours.

Do I need two photographers?

Two photographers come in handy when you and your partner are getting ready at different locations, but can’t afford the additional hours. Since I can’t be in two places at once, I’ll send my second photographer over to your partner and I’ll be with you! Two photographers also means additional angles during ceremony and reception, so expect even more photos with a second photographer.

How long after the wedding do we have to wait for the photos?

I do my absolute best to get photos to you ASAP!! You’ll receive a sneak peek within 24 hours so you have lots of social media content to last until you receive the final gallery. I’ll deliver the final gallery within 8-10 weeks. I do have an option to add-on "extra speedy" editing and will deliver your photos within 2-4 weeks for $500.

Will we get all the photos?

Abso-freaking-lutely!!! You get everything - all the good moments! The only photos you won’t receive are mid-blink, accidentally out of focus or unflattering photos you won’t want to share with the world. Expect to receive 100 photos per hour of coverage.

I found a wedding photo checklist on Pinterest, can I give it to you?

Throughout the day, I find it's best to let the moments unfold and capture them as they happen. In order to prevent us from missing any key moments or details, the only running list I use is the family list. You’ll fill out a questionnaire, which includes family list, important details, must have shots and also your song requests and we’ll make sure every person is accounted for and gets a photo taken with you two. The wedding photo checklist you found is likely exactly what I would cover on any wedding day, so no need to worry - I've got your back. I'll capture all the details and key moments and provide you with as many photos as possible so you can relive your wedding day over and over again.

You mentioned song requests?

Oh yes I did! Tell me all your favorite songs so I can build a custom playlist for you and your wedding party/family during formal photos. I want it to be as fun as possible for everyone, so let’s jam out to everyone’s favorite tunes!

We love candid photos! Will there be a lot of candid photos?

You bet! My style relies heavily on candid, real life moments. I’m known for unposed and unforced photos. I will give you direction as needed and watch out for any moments as they happen. It’ll feel like old friends hanging out, so we can get as many candids as possible.

What should we expect from an engagement session and why are they complimentary?

Engagement sessions are my gift to you! Okay so maybe your partner hates photos, but it’s a time for us to get acquainted with each other and get comfortable working together. I am going to be with you all day on your wedding day, so we better get comfy now. If your partner isn’t a huge photo person, we can make it as quick as 30 minutes or as long as 2 hours! I want to get to know you guys and chat more about your wedding day! We can shoot at up to 3 different locations and as many as 4 outfits. It’s really about documenting the two of you in your day to day life or in places that mean the most to you (ie where you had your first date, where he proposed, your Saturday morning hiking trail, etc). You’ll receive a sneak peek within 48 hours and the final gallery within 2 weeks. Once you book me, you’ll receive a full overview including more details about what to expect, what to wear and location suggestions.

We are ready to go! How do we book you?

UM YAY! Thank you! A $1200 retainer and signed contract will lock in your wedding date with me. The remaining balance is due 21 days before the wedding. I’ll send a contract and invoice via an online program called Dubsado.

Do you do elopements or destination weddings?

You bet I do! Elopements start at $1400. For destination weddings, travel + lodging fees may apply. I’d love to hear what ideas you have and where we’ll be going.
