Anastasiya + Brendan: Pasadena City Hall Bridals

A PASADENA CITY HALL ANNIVERSARY SESSION

Anastasiya and Brendan celebrated one year of marriage with a gorgeous anniversary session at Pasadena City Hall and Arlington Garden. Brendan messaged me about doing this session a few months in advance and I was so pumped. I took their engagement photos, so of course I was stoked to get to photograph another special moment in their life. He made an adorable card telling her he had a session booked with me for her. She texted me right away so excited to start planning.

Brendan and I had already made somewhat of a plan, which included a first look. I planned to pick her up at their apartment while Brendan was supposedly still hard at work, except Brendan and I also made a little plan to re-create a first look since they didn’t have one on their wedding day. They were going to be in their wedding attire, so. I told him to be ready and standing in the middle of garden. He and I were in communication so he knew when I picked her up and our ETA. After she and I parked, I told her I would run up and get set up so I could get photos of her walking into the garden. As she started walking up, she realized he was there and was so stunned. It was such a special moment!! If you didn’t experience a first look on your wedding day, why not recreate one during an anniversary session or a vow renewal?

Ailis + Michael: Pasadena Christmas Card Shoot

A HOLIDAY COUPLE’S SESSION

Ailis and I have been chatting FOREVER about planning a shoot and I’m SO HAPPY we finally made it happen! We met a while ago after our mutual friend Kristen told Ailis about me. Ailis reached out originally for photos for her social media, but was traveling a lot as was I. We kept missing each other until last winter when we were able to meet for coffee and chat. We chatted more about doing a shoot for her company at some point (still in the works), but then we managed to schedule a shoot for her and her fiance before that shoot happened. We met up in Pasadena (one of my favorite places to shoot) and wandered around Old Town. They are so sweet and were laughing the whole time - that’s all natural people!!!

Ranielle + Santi: Pasadena City Hall + Arlington Garden Engagement Session

A PASADENA ENGAGEMENT SESSION

When people just get you… it’s a freaking dream!! Santi + Ranielle gave me an In N Out gift card at the end of their engagement session and I was like wow.. you get me! I eat In N Out after a wedding day, even if I’m fed really well. It’s just tradition.

I had so much fun shooting with them! They’re so dang natural and just interact so seamlessly! It made my job so easy and so fun. They were down to try different things including running at the most random times plus they were laughing the whole time, which created some of the cutest moments!

Connie + David: Pasadena City Hall Engagement Session

AN OLD TOWN PASADENA ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Coffee, cuddles and lots of love in Old Town Pasadena with Connie and David! They met on coffee meets bagel, so coffee was obviously a must, but unfortunately most bagel shops are closed by 5PM, so no luck with the bagels! They are so so fun and I can’t wait to post their wedding, too! For now, enjoy this sweet engagement session!
