AHHHH Dan and Vanessa get married next year in Bel Air and I can’t wait!! They flew down from Canada to meet with venues and do an engagement session with me in Laguna Beach! They had so many ideas and were down to do whatever including getting in the water at the end. I legit had SO MUCH fun with them and didn’t want to leave. I’m just going to let the photos do the talking here!!
Two years later… TWO YEARS! So wild! Gonzo first contacted me when he was proposing to Shelby. This time Shelby contacted me to take anniversary photos & soon after this they announced they were pregnant. It’s so sweet to be a part of a couple’s journey beyond engagement photos and wedding photos.
Our first two shoots were in Laguna at Montage (proposal) and Victoria Beach (engagement session), so it only made sense to return to Laguna for some photos! We went to Top of the World and Moss Cove - two of my favorite spots.
Happy New Year and congrats to all the newly engaged couples! Let me tell you about one of my favorite engagement sessions.
They were visiting California and had a photographer lined up for the big proposal. Their photographer canceled, but thankfully we managed to get in contact and made the proposal happen a couple hours later. Since it was pitch black during the proposal, I offered an engagement session the following day, which was a blast. Shelby and Gonzo are so fun to hang out with and their love is infectious. Enjoy this sweet couple!
