A WORK/LIFE BALANCE RELATIONSHIP

Do you ever feel like you have no days off? I mean honestly that's me every dang day. As a business owner and a freelancer, I work for myself, so I make my own hours, but honestly a lot of the time it feels like I'm ALWAYS working! Kristen and Seth 100% understand the struggle of work/life balance. We took the day to focus on them and what their day to day looks like. While they both are constantly traveling, working, emailing, etc - they often get to do it together, which is awesome! That's exactly what you want in a relationship. They do definitely spend a lot of time apart as well, but they make it work and do their best to maintain a work/life balance. We spent most of the day wandering around DTLA, specifically the arts district, but we also made it back to West Hollywood for some good shots! Enjoy!

Ian + Marta: Old Towne Orange Engagement Session

AN ORANGE CIRCLE LOVE STORY

Ian and Marta are one of the sweetest and funniest couples I've met. They had a couple drinks before we met up, which was definitely to our benefit because they were comfortable. I gave them scenarios to act out and taught them all about the "drunk walk" pictured above. They have such a strong connection and they honestly didn't need much direction because they were so in love. We wandered around Old Towne Orange for a bit on a busy weekend day, which of course was crowded, but the photos turned out awesome and I loved hanging with them.

Howard + Lorie: Rancho Santa Margarita Engagement Session

A STROLL AROUND RSM LAKE

Howard and Lorie met at Bible study. He was into her and she just wasn't interested in getting into a relationship. Eventually after a lot of pursuing and hanging out after Bible study ended, they wound up dating. Here they are today so in love! We met up in RSM and made one big loop around the lake. It was a little after Christmas, so there were still some decorations up, which of course they wanted to incorporate into their shots.

London Engagement + Couple Sessions

BUCKINGHAM PALACE ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS

It's been said forever, Paris is the city of love, but let me tell you London is definitely the city of love. While traveling this past summer, I realized I LOVE London waaaay more than Paris. London is similar to New York, except it's cleaner, the architecture is better, and the public transportation is even faster. I was with my friends Adrian and Sheri and while exploring we met some of the friendliest and hippest couples! While we were at Buckingham Palace, Sheri started going up to people and asking if they would open to doing a quick shoot Everyone was totally down and a few of these couples wound up getting engaged! Enjoy these dreamy couples!

Chase + Kaelie: Los Rios Historic District Engagement

A San Juan CAPISTRANO ENGAGEMENT SESSION

It's not every day a childhood friend reaches out and asks you to photograph their wedding. I was beyond thrilled when Kaelie reached out, especially since we haven't seen each other since middle school. She and Chase met in Nashville and she somehow managed to get him out to California haha! They are so sweet and so perfect for one another! I really enjoyed walking around Los Rios street with them while Chase goofed off and Kaelie modeled away. We even grabbed their favorite coffee and my favorite chai from Hidden House after the shoot.
